Through this workshop, participants will gain a clear understanding of the best practices for supporting community members in changing their behaviors of WASH practices to achieve improved community livelihoods. The workshop then covers more technical aspects of WASH, with a focus on household water and safe storage and handling technologies of water, and the importance of sanitation, hygiene issues, members of the community. and the importance of the inclusion of every member of the community. The last stage of this workshop is very practical and outlines the steps and effective strategies for working with households and community members.

Taller de Promoción Comunitaria en WASH

Durante este taller, los participantes obtendrán una comprensión clara de cuáles son las buenas prácticas para apoyar a los miembros de la comunidad en el cambio de comportamiento en temas WASH.El objetivo general de este taller es que los participantes sean capaces de motivar a los miembros de la comunidad a que practiquen comportamientos eficaces en WASH.Tras completar este taller, los participantes serán capaces de:þ Explicar cómo los temas de WASH afectan la vida de las familias.þ Identificar factores que influyen en el cambio de comportamiento.þ Describir el papel de un promotor comunitario de WASH.þ Reforzar el conocimiento acerca de las tecnologías de tratamiento de agua a nivel domiciliario y su almacenamiento seguro (TANDAS), y otros temas en saneamiento e higiene.þIdentificar problemas de WASH en una familia.þDebatir sobre distintas estrategias que influyen en el cambio de comportamiento relacionado con WASH.þUsar formularios para monitorear cambios de comportamiento a fin de lograr los objetivos WASH para hogares saludables.þDemostrar cómo se realiza una visita domiciliaria eficaz.
