Event Image
This training introduces a comprehensive approach to improving public health through safe water, sanitation, hygiene, and waste management. It provides participants with an understanding of the principles, policies, and practical approaches needed to support healthy, safe, and resilient communities. Participants will enhance their knowledge in sanitation, water quality, fecal sludge management, and water safety planning. They will also be better prepared to support sustainable interventions and encourage positive behavior changes at the community level. The course covers sanitation concepts and indicators, policy and regulatory frameworks, fecal sludge and solid waste management, water quality monitoring and treatment, climate-resilient water safety planning, and hygiene promotion, with a focus on practical application and community-level implementation.
